Inspection Services, Inc., a division of Laser Design Inc., is expanding
its area of on-site services coverage to the Toledo market. Steve
DeRemer, the company’s regional General Manager commented, “Toledo and

portable Faro Platinum arm and either a touch probe or a laser probe can

industrial base to warrant GKS having a local on-site presence there,”
according to DeRemer. The GKS Toledo staff can rapidly respond to local
customer requests thereby eliminating extra travel expenses, shipping

GKS envisions a long-term commitment to the
Toledo industrial market. “GKS will be a key provider of inspection and
reverse engineering services in Toledo as we have been in the Detroit

customers can also send parts to GKS’ A2LA accredited lab in the Detroit
metro area (Plymouth) which offers Mechanical Testing and Calibration
services using CMMs, vision systems, and other traditional dimensional
measurement technologies. The company also has several laser scanners
in its Detroit-area lab that can be used for non-contact inspection and
reverse engineering applications.
