GKS Signs Buff
Group to Promote Terrestrial Laser Scanning Services
to Architectural
Engineering and Construction Sector
DETROIT, MI
- GKS
Inspection Services, a global provider of dimensional inspection, 3D
laser scanning, and terrestrial scanning services for over 25 years, has
signed a representation agreement with the Buff Group. The Buff Group
will promote GKS’ services to their customer base. Lisa Buff, the
group’s Architectural and Design Sales Executive, has extensive ties to
the architectural engineering and construction sector and will call on
architects, engineers, designers, developers, commercial furniture
manufacturers, as well as people in the construction industry to promote
GKS’ line of services, especially the ground-breaking terrestrial laser
scanning technology which is used to digitize large objects such as
buildings, bridges and power plants.
“My job is to
bring inspired ideas and solutions to architects and designers for their
construction projects,” commented Buff, “and GKS gives me an excellent,
innovative resource to recommend to them. Terrestrial laser scanning
makes traditional surveying methods of measurement obsolete. The

The Buff Group serves clients in fields as diverse as architectural
engineering and construction design, real estate development, healthcare
and group purchasing organizations, universities, museums, commercial
furniture manufacturers, mass merchandisers, and even membership clubs,
and will connect them to GKS’ top-notch metrology services.

independent manufacturer’s sales rep, Buff found GKS’ extensive array of
products and services, such as quality control, reverse engineering, and
large-scale terrestrial laser scanning, to be complementary to the lines
she already represents. “I am able to supply my ongoing manufacturing
